Apple Cider Milkshake

Last week I was visiting Amanda's Cooking and she had a wonderful idea for a milkshake, my husband and I immediately loved what she had made. Amanda had created an apple cider milkshake, it was so simple and easy and according to her simply delish! We made some of this last night to share with the in laws and everybody just loved them. I highly recommend giving them a try this fall; it is a great tasting shake and another great way to enjoy the taste of apples.

6 – Large Scoops Vanilla Ice-Cream
1 ¼ C. Simply Apple Juice
½ Tbs. Ground Cinnamon

Place all ingredients into a blender and blend, pour into a glass and watch the smiles appear on every ones face.

This gave us 2 wine goblets full of shakes.

Fascinating, I would have assumed that the apple juice would have curdled the ice cream...I'll have to try this.

Oh it's even better with real cider!! :) YUM! Our orchard closed for a the season a few days ago. I wish I had a freezer big enough to keep gallons and gallons of cider. But alas, I don't. :-p

Never would have thought of that combination! I'm game- anything with ice cream, cider and cinnamon just HAS to be great.

I never would have thought of this combination but it sounds delicious and lighter than the usual shake. The fresh cider now is so good.

This sounds delicious and the ice cream will help cut the acidity of the cider-Can't wait to give this a try!

Very interesting! I absolutely love apples and vanilla is my favorite flavor of ice cream. Apple cider is just the icing on the cake.

I think I will try this, but with low-fat no added sugar vanilla ice cream.

Thank you for sharing!
Anthony
