Dunkin DVD Movie Review

Thank you to our sister Cheryl for suggesting that we do a movie review on our blog, so welcome to the first of many installments of Dunkin DVD Movie Review. Every Thursday we will give you our review of a movie that we have watched over the week. We will provide you with the Title of the movie, the year it was made, the main characters, the rating and our opinion of the flick.

First up we have Personal Effects (2008) Rated R for language, some violence and disturbing images.

This movie starred Ashton Kutcher as Walter, Michelle Pfeiffer as Linda and Kathy Bates as Gloria (Walter's Mother). Walter is a rising star in the NCAA wrestling world until he has to rush back home to his mothers side after his twin sister has been brutally murdered. A chance meeting with an older woman who lost her husband to a murder brings them together and a chance at closure of their individual pain.

We both thought that it was a rather slow paced movie but had a good message of hope, love, and family togetherness. This movie had very serious and emotional sections along with some very funny and humerus as well. We give this movie 2 Thumbs Up.

Since we've moved, we haven't had any access to TV, so this will be nice since I have no way of knowing what's out there right now!

Never heard about this movie before. Sounds interesting especially for the part of the good message of hope, love and family togetherness. Thanks for sharing :)
