Mushroom Puffs

My husband loves mushrooms so I wanted to use them in a different and fun way for him to enjoy, I found this recipe and thought I would give it a whirl. They turned out great, he absolutely loved them. Guess what… I even liked them, how weird is that? (We all know how much I dislike veggies).

4 oz Cream Cheese (soft)
1 Can (4 oz) Mushroom Pieces (drained)
½ Small Onion (Caramelized)
1 Tsp. Hot Sauce
1 Tube (8 oz) Crescent Roll Dough

In a food processor combine cream cheese, mushrooms, onion and hot sauce, cover and mix until well blended. Open the dough and separate the 2 sections and separate into 4 rectangles, pinch the seams together and spread the cream cheese mix on top. Roll the dough up jelly roll style, starting with the long side. Cut each roll into 5 slices and bake on an ungreased sheet at 425 for 8-10 min or until golden brown.
