Apple Betty

4 C. of any type of apple you prefer ( I use Fuji )
1/4 C. Orange Juice
1 C. Sugar
1/2 C. Butter
3/4 C. Flour
1/2 Tsp. Cinnamon
1/4 Tsp. Nutmeg
1 C. Golden Raisins ( Optional )

Slice apples ( peeled or un-peeled ) I leave the skin on for extra flavor and mix them with the orange juice. In another bowl mix the remaining ingredients until it has a meal consistency. Rub the bottom of a pie plate with butter and put in your apple-orange juice mixture along with the raisins. Top evenly with your topping mix, bake on a cookie sheet just in case it overflows. Bake at 375 for about 45min or until golden brown.

Serve warm or cold with ice-cream or whipped topping.
