A Man & His Harley!

Back in October of 2009 our local radio station 105.9 The Brew started giving away 6 times a day every Wednesday until the end of the year a key for a brand new 2009 Harley Davidson 1200C Sportster, my husband was lucky enough 1 Wednesday in November to be caller #12 and win himself a key. Yesterday 1-9-2010 all 72 key winners gathered at Team Latus Harley Motors in Gladstone Oregon to see who out of the 72 key holders would be the lucky winners of the 2 bikes they were giving away. When we arrived Ed had to turn in his paperwork “The Brew” had sent him in the mail for a bottle cap with a number attached to it for his placement in line. He reached into a box and pulled out the cap with #19 on it, and Ed thought it had to be a sign because the #19 is his birthday date. At 1:00pm they had all contestants line up 1-72, everyone was handed a corresponding key out of a sealed envelope then walked up to the Harley to see if the key they had would start the bike. Everyone from 1-18 only stood next to the bike and tried the key, but Ed looked at me and said “ I am going to sit on it like I own it” and that is just what he did, and to my surprise and his as well, the damn thing actually started ...my husband had just won a Harley Davidson....OMG. This truly was a surprise to both of us and one hell of an exciting day for him.
