Shrimp Dip

My mother started making this dip back in the early 80’s. She went to a Christmas party and they served it in a hollowed out sourdough bread bowl, they used the inner bread pieces for dipping. She loved the flavor and simplicity of the dip and started making it every year for the Holidays. She passed the recipe on to me and it was my job to put my own spin on it and make it my own dip.
If you like shrimp then give this dip a try, see if you your family and friends like it as much as mine does.

1 Cup Mayo
1 – 8 oz Cream Cheese (Soft)
2 – 4 1/2 oz Cans tiny shrimp (drained & rinsed)
1 Tbs. Garlic powder
1 Tbs. Onion powder
1/2 Tbs. Dry parsley
1 Green onion sliced

Your favorite crackers

With a hand mixer or your kitchen aid mix the cream cheese, shrimp, mayo, garlic, onion, & parsley until well combined. Transfer to a serving bowl and top with the sliced green onions, cover and refrigerate 2 hours. Serve with crackers and enjoy.

This shrimp dip sounds really good! I wonder if it would work if you added some cheese and baked it?
