Deep Fried Candy Bites

Welcome back to Deep Fried Dessert Week... If you thought the Oreo's were over the top take a look at what we have deep fried now. Candy Bars, OMG... we deep fried Milky Way Bars . I had never had these before either and I almost like them better than the cookies, almost but not quite. They have such a smooth and gooey texture inside that crunchy crispy exterior. You really need to give these a try, we had about 1 cup of the batter left from making the Oreo's so we used that for the candy also. If you need the batter recipe take a look at our posting from Sunday 4-26-09.

I stole your photo and am using it on our site without permission. I also added a watermark to the photo so that people will think we took the photo. (Nobody reads text anymore.)

Thanks!

Looks super tasty and reminds me partly of the apple rings from the spa hotels in Italy but then quite different. Thanks for the interesting impressions!
